The show also had some exciting matches and segments, including a Bull Rope Match between Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura. Here are the highlights and results from the show.
WWE RAW: Cody Rhodes vs Shinsuke Nakamura Bull Rope Match
Cody Rhodes, the 2024 Royal Rumble winner, had a lot on his mind as he prepared to face Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope Match, one of his father’s signature matches. Rhodes had recently announced that he would not challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania XL, but instead suggested The Rock as Reigns’ opponent. Rhodes also had to deal with Seth Rollins, who wanted to face him for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Nakamura, on the other hand, had been attacking Rhodes at every opportunity, including at a WWE Live Event in Knoxville, TN. Nakamura wanted to prove himself as one of the best in the business and ruin Rhodes’ road to WrestleMania.
The match was brutal and bloody, as both men used the rope and the cowbell to inflict pain on each other. Nakamura targeted Rhodes’ injured arm, while Rhodes fought back with his trademark resilience and determination. The match ended when Rhodes hit Nakamura with a Cross Rhodes and dragged him to all four corners of the ring to win the match.
After the match, Rhodes celebrated with the fans, but was interrupted by Rollins, who came out to the stage and challenged him to a match at Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship. Rhodes accepted the challenge and stared down Rollins as the show went to commercial.
Gunther celebrates his 600th day as Intercontinental Champion

However, his celebration was cut short by Ricochet, who came out to the ring and congratulated Gunther, but also challenged him to a match for the title. Ricochet said that he respected Gunther, but he also wanted to prove himself as a worthy challenger. Gunther accepted the challenge and said that he would face Ricochet at Elimination Chamber.
The two men shook hands, but he tried to cheap shot Ricochet with the cake. Ricochet dodged the attack and hit him with a superkick, sending him out of the ring. Ricochet then posed with the Intercontinental Championship as the fans cheered him on.
