Further detailing his communication with Kohli, de Villiers shared, “I messaged him, ‘I wanted to meet you for some time, biscuit. How are you?’ Then, de Villiers revealed Kohli’s response, “Right now, I just need to be with my family. I am good.”

Expressing his support for Kohli’s prioritization of family, de Villiers stated, “Yes, their second child is on the way. This is the time for the family, and things are crucial for them. If you’re not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track. You are here for what reason? I think, for most people, the priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for that.”
