Popular singer Post Malone is going country! His upcoming F-1 Trillion Tour kicking off this September, which will showcase his brand new country album of the same name.
Malone is known for his blend of genres, but this tour marks a significant shift towards country music. His fans can expect a whole new sound, with the tour serving as a launching pad for his upcoming country album, F-1 Trillion, which drops on August 16.
The 21-city tour will see Malone hit stadiums, festivals, and theaters across the United States. He expressed his excitement in a recent announcement, stating, “I love y’all so very much, and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you.”
The tour kicks off on September 8th in Salt Lake City, Utah, and winds down on October 19th with a final show in Nashville, Tennessee. Fans can snag tickets during the pre-sale starting on June 26th or wait for general sales on July 1st through Live Nation.
Malone’s foray into country music isn’t entirely unexpected. In fact, he’s been dropping hints for a while. Last year, he collaborated with country music stars Morgan Wallen and HARDY at the CMA Awards. This year, he continued his country exploration with a feature on Beyonce’s country album and surprised fans with a set of country covers in Nashville. He even made his debut at the ACM Awards in May, performing a song from his upcoming country album.
It all seems to have stemmed from a 2022 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, where Malone expressed his desire to explore different genres. He stated, “To be honest, there’s nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album [to put] on YouTube. I’m allowed to do that. I’m a human being.” Looks like he’s following through on his creative vision!
