What Happened in Episode 14: The Mithril Golem Fight

Episode 14, titled “Mythril Giant,” followed Elymas and Ruche deeper into the Centipede Tunnel (Mukade Koudou). After obtaining Blacksteel equipment, the pair detected heavy footsteps echoing through the dungeon, a clear sign that a rare monster had appeared.

The monster was a Mithril Golem, a massive creature with overwhelming destructive power. Elymas and Ruche engaged the golem in battle, aiming to secure powerful materials that surpass even Blacksteel. The fight was intense, but the duo managed to defeat the rare monster. This victory granted Ruche a level-up and a new skill, which will play a key role in Episode 15.

Elymas Edvaughn’s Journey So Far

Elymas Edvaughn was born into the noble Edvaughn family, a lineage known for producing Master Swordsmen for generations. During his Baptisma ceremony at age 15, Elymas manifested the Heavy Knight class, which was considered defective because it specializes in defense rather than offense. Stripped of his position as heir and cast out by his father, Elymas regained memories of a past life and realized this world mirrored a VR game he had once mastered.

Armed with game knowledge, Elymas set out to prove the Heavy Knight class is far from weak. He developed two primary skill trees: the Vow of the Heavy Armor (his native Heavy Knight tree) and the Smoldering Fang of Madness (an illegal skillbook he acquired early in the series). After defeating his rival Malice and saying goodbye to the Edvaughn family, Elymas traveled to Lacoryna, the holy land of adventurers, to upgrade his equipment.

Ruche Luvis and Her Powerful Skill Set

Ruche Luvis is an adventurer belonging to the Clown (Jester) class, which gives her thief-like agility and frontline combat skills using knives and daggers. Ruche possesses an exceptionally high hidden Luck stat, granting her a passive “Great Luck” ability. She also has the “Cat’s Paw” skill, which boosts item drop rates by 500%.

Ruche initially believed Elymas recruited her for romantic reasons, but he actually identified her extraordinary drop-rate abilities and wanted her on his team for dungeon farming. Her skill set has proven invaluable in the Centipede Tunnel, where rare materials are the goal.

What to Expect in Episode 15: The Lord of the Centipede Tunnel

Episode 15 is titled “The Lord of the Centipede Tunnel” (Japanese: 百足坑道の主). After defeating the Mithril Golem and leveling up, Ruche obtained a new skill. Together with Elymas, she will join him in confronting the dungeon’s master: the Rock Centipede.

The Rock Centipede is a Level 60 monster that moves at tremendous speed and can deliver instant-death blows in a single hit. Elymas and Ruche will need to use every skill and strategy at their disposal to survive this fight. The episode will also reveal what new skill Ruche acquired after the Mithril Golem battle and how it changes the dynamic of their dungeon run.
