Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has Reveals the first character poster of Sathyaraj from his upcoming film Coolie, which features Rajinikanth in the lead role. Sathyaraj Joins Coolie as Rajasekhar

Sathyaraj’s character in the film, Rajasekhar, was introduced through a new poster that showcases the actor in a contemplative pose, wearing a basic shirt and spectacles, and examining the exposed end of a wire. The image hints at the mysterious and intense nature of his role, adding to the growing anticipation surrounding the film. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared the poster on the social media platform X, expressing his excitement about Sathyaraj joining the cast. His post read,

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, with Rajinikanth leading as the main protagonist. Earlier, the director also shared character posters of Nagarjuna, who plays Simon, and Shruti Haasan, who appears as Preethi. The movie also features Soubin Shahir, Kannada actor Upendra, and Mahendran in significant roles, though their characters have not yet been fully disclosed.

The film is expected to be a major release with Sun Pictures backing the production. With Anirudh Ravichander handling the music, the soundtrack is also highly anticipated. The production began in July this year, and though the exact release date has not been confirmed, it is set to hit the screens in the second half of 2025.
