Moon Ga Young is confirmed to join Lee Jong Suk in the upcoming legal drama Seocho-dong, which is set to be released in 2025. The drama will be directed by Park Seung Woo, the director behind the hit series W, marking a notable reunion with Lee Jong Suk.
On October 4, reports from JTBC Entertainment News revealed that Moon Ga Young will portray Kang Hee Ji, a lawyer with two years of experience at a law firm. Kang Hee Ji is an optimistic character who believes that by changing one person’s life, she can transform their entire world. The character’s journey will explore her growth from being somewhat insecure to becoming a more confident and attractive personality.
Lee Jong Suk, who is considering the male lead role, is expected to play Ahn Joo Hyung, a seasoned lawyer with nine years at the prestigious Kyungmin Law Firm. Should he accept the offer, this will mark his on-screen reunion with Park Seung Woo, following their previous collaboration on W.
Seocho-dong will focus on the lives of lawyers working at law firms, exploring both personal and professional dynamics in the legal world. The production team is targeting a 2025 release for the drama.
