G-Dragon Collaborates with PD Kim Tae Ho
BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is set to premiere his new variety show, Good Day, in collaboration with renowned producer PD Kim Tae Ho. The show has been officially confirmed by MBC for broadcast, with the first look images released featuring G-Dragon and PD Kim Tae Ho.
Show Concept and Guests
“Good Day” is described as a unique music project where G-Dragon will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds to craft the song of the year. As the show’s producer, G-Dragon will convert the unique stories of these collaborators into music, presenting this creative journey through a reality show format.
The show has attracted attention due to its star-studded guest lineup, including actors Jung Hae In and Im Siwan. Talks are ongoing with other celebrities like Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Go Eun, and the girl group aespa. Notably, G-Dragon’s reunion with Jung Hyung Don after 12 years since their last collaboration on the 2013 Infinite Challenge Song Festival is particularly highlighted. Other guests like Defconn, Cho Sae Ho, and CODE KUNST are also expected to bring unique dynamics to the show.
G-Dragon’s Comeback and Personal Touch
G-Dragon himself conceptualized “Good Day” during his hiatus, expressing his excitement to return to variety programming after a significant break. He reminisced about his childhood memories of watching performances and his past experiences with the “Infinite Challenge” team, which have influenced the show’s concept.
Recent Achievements
Before the announcement of “Good Day”, G-Dragon made headlines with his solo comeback single, Power, which was met with widespread acclaim. He also collaborated with his BIGBANG bandmates Taeyang and Daesung on the track HOME SWEET HOME. This collaboration led to BIGBANG’s first stage performance in nine years at the 2024 MAMA Awards.
