YG Entertainment is closing its acting management branch to concentrate on its music business. The company confirmed this news on January 17 KST, expressing gratitude to the actors and actresses who have worked with them and to the fans for their support. YG Entertainment also stated they will continue to support their actors until their current contracts expire.
YG Entertainment’s Farewell to Actors
YG Entertainment is parting ways with its entire roster of actors and actresses. This list includes many well-known names in the Korean entertainment industry:
- Kim Hee Ae
- Cha Seung Won
- Jang Hyun Sung
- Yoo In Na
- Jung Hye Young
- Yoo Seung Ho
- Lee Sung Kyung
- Jang Ki Yong
- Lee Soo Hyuk
- Kyung Soo Jin

- And more.
It is important to note that YG Entertainment has later clarified that the actors will remain with the company until their contracts conclude. Other artists, like BABYMONSTER and 2NE1, are also expected to have more activities in 2025.
