J-Hope, a member of the global sensation BTS, recently made waves with his performance at the prestigious Gala des Pièces Jaunes 2025 in Paris. He shared highlights from the event on his social media, including a special shoutout to his bandmate SUGA and his iconic verse in the song “Mic Drop.” Adding to the excitement, J-Hope also made an appearance on pop star Katy Perry’s Instagram.

A Star-Studded Event

J-Hope’s Instagram posts showcased his experience at the Gala des Pièces Jaunes. One notable post was a repost from Katy Perry’s account, marking his first appearance on her social media. The video captured J-Hope’s surprised reaction to fireworks on stage, which he playfully acknowledged with a laughing emoji on his Instagram story.

The K-pop idol also shared a clip of his “Mic Drop” performance from the event’s official YouTube channel. He captioned the post “Sorry. Mom,” referencing SUGA’s famous line in the song. J-Hope later gave fans a glimpse into his post-performance relaxation, showing himself watching his Paris Gala performance on television at home.

J-Hope’s “Mic Drop” performance was a highlight of the gala. He also performed his popular songs “MORE” and “On The Street.” Other K-pop artists who graced the stage included BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Taeyang, and BLACKPINK’s Rosé. The Gala des Pièces Jaunes is an annual charity concert hosted by France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron, to support hospitalized children and adolescents.

J-Hope’s recent activities extend beyond the gala. He attended the Louis Vuitton 2025 Menswear fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, where his upcoming song “LV Bag” featuring Don Toliver and produced by Pharrell Williams was played. Speculation about a feature from Travis Scott has also surfaced online.

J-Hope also announced his first solo world tour, “HOPE ON THE STREET,” spanning North America and Asia. The tour begins in Seoul with three shows at the KSPO Dome from February 28 to March 2, 2025.
