A popular Italian radio show has sparked outrage among BTS fans (ARMY) for allegedly disrespecting Jin. A clip from the show circulated online, showing the hosts making disparaging remarks about Jin’s solo song, “The Astronaut,” leading fans to demand an apology and call for action from HYBE Labels.

Cursing and Disparaging Remarks

During a recent episode of “Lo Zoo di 105,” host Marco Mazzoli used curse words while Jin’s song “The Astronaut” played. He repeatedly asked to turn the song off, calling it a “pain in the ass” (as translated by fans). Mazzoli’s behavior and language deeply offended fans, who viewed it as unprofessional and disrespectful to the artist.

Mazzoli’s comments didn’t stop there. He sarcastically acknowledged the group’s global popularity, stating that he shouldn’t insult a BTS member, but then dismissed any potential backlash, saying he didn’t care about their reaction. This attitude further fueled fans’ anger, who began trending “apologize to Jin” and “respect BTS” on X (formerly Twitter). They also shared the hosts’ Instagram profiles, labeling them “CLOWNS.”

Fans Demand Apology and Action

ARMYs flooded Mazzoli’s Instagram with comments, expressing their disappointment and anger. Comments included, “It is this profile that we bring down?” and “karma will come to you soon,” demonstrating the depth of their feelings.

Despite the online backlash, Mazzoli attempted to justify his actions, claiming he was simply exercising his freedom of expression by stating his dislike for the music. While admitting his delivery was harsh, he refused to apologize and even described ARMY’s reaction as “pathological.”

Fans considered this justification a “pathetic excuse,” arguing that using curse words to express a musical opinion is unacceptable. The situation remains tense, with fans resolute in their demand for an apology. HYBE Labels has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
