Naga Chaitanya has finally opened up about his much-discussed divorce from actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In a recent interview on the YouTube podcast Raw Talks With VK, the actor shared his thoughts on the challenges of navigating public scrutiny while dealing with personal issues.
During the candid conversation, Naga Chaitanya revealed that his divorce became an unwanted topic of public entertainment. He expressed frustration over how the media turned a deeply personal experience into gossip.
“We have asked for privacy. Please respect us and give us privacy on this matter. But, unfortunately, it is a headline. It became a topic or gossip. It became entertainment,” Chaitanya said.
Mutual Decision and Respect
Reflecting on the difficult decision, Naga Chaitanya emphasized that both he and Samantha made the choice to part ways mutually and with respect. He clarified that there was no ill will between them and that they had moved on with grace. He also expressed happiness that Samantha had moved on in her life.
Chaitanya added, “It’s not like it’s only happening in my life, so why am I treated like a criminal? I come from a broken family. I’m a child from a broken family, so I know what the experience is like. I will think 1000 times before breaking a relationship because I know the repercussions… It was a mutual decision.”
Moving On with Dignity
Since the separation, Naga Chaitanya has focused on rebuilding himself. He married actress Sobhita Dhulipala and spoke about how both he and Samantha are in better places now. Despite the challenges, the actor remained optimistic and determined to grow from the experience.
Towards the end of the interview, Chaitanya expressed that the divorce did not happen overnight. Although the process was painful, he has worked hard to find stability and happiness again.
