This yearโs FESTA holds extra significance as the group prepares for a full reunion. RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook will complete their military service by June 11, while Suga will be discharged on June 21. Fans are eagerly waiting to see all seven members together again.
The Theme: “Twelve OโClock”
The theme for FESTA 2025 is Twelve OโClock, inspired by BTSโs song 00:00 (Zero OโClock). The song symbolizes new beginnings and hope, fitting perfectly as the group enters a fresh chapter after military service.
In the video, Jin, acting as a news anchor, explained the meaning behind the theme. โIt represents the future weโll walk together with ARMY,โ he said. The choice reflects BTSโs message of unity with their fans as they prepare for their next steps.
Jin and J-Hopeโs Hilarious Skit
The BTS News video was packed with humor and inside jokes. Jin played a confident news anchor, while J-Hope took on the role of an energetic field reporter. At one point, Jin joked, โThe highlight is my face,โ making J-Hope laugh in agreement.
One of the funniest moments came when J-Hope pretended to be a longtime fan calling into the show. Using a high-pitched voice, he dramatically complained about struggling to get concert tickets. โIt was so hard to get tickets, my fingers still hurt!โ he said, before cheering, โI love you BTS! I love you, J-Hope!โ
J-Hope also delivered a fake weather forecast, predicting that fan excitement in June would be โover 30ยฐCโ and that June 13-14 (BTSโs debut anniversary) would be โ6.13ยฐC hotter than usual.โ The playful segment left fans laughing and excited for whatโs next.
More FESTA Content Coming Soon
While Jin and J-Hope teased upcoming FESTA events, they avoided giving spoilers. โNo spoilers,โ they said with a grin, hinting at surprises in store. The full FESTA schedule includes offline events on June 13-14 at KINTEX 2 in Goyang, South Korea.
Fans can expect interactive zones like an ARMY Bomb Photo Spot, a Voice Zone with member messages, and a Trophy Zone showcasing BTSโs achievements. There will also be activities like a DIY Zone and a Coloring Wall. Online content will be released daily from June 2 to June 13.
Military Discharge Dates and Reunion Plans
Jin was the first BTS member to enlist in December 2022 and was discharged in June 2024. J-Hope followed in April 2023 and completed his service in October 2024. The remaining members are set to return soon:
- RM & V: June 10, 2025
- Jimin & Jungkook: June 11, 2025
- Suga: June 21, 2025
Once all members are back, fans expect new music and possible tour announcements. However, HYBEโs CEO Lee Jae Sang recently stated that BTS will take time to prepare before resuming full group activities. โThey need time for production and planning,โ he said, suggesting a 2026 comeback.
