Reality television star Connor Tomlinson, known for the Netflix series Love on the Spectrum, has expanded his career into acting with a guest role in the NBC medical drama Brilliant Minds. Tomlinson appears in the show’s second season, which began airing in September 2025.

Fans of the actor were quick to celebrate his performance online after NBC shared a clip from the episode on social media. His sister, Anna Tomlinson, expressed her pride, writing, “CRYING ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ˜ญ could not be more proud.” Fellow Love on the Spectrum cast member Tanner Smith commented, “AWESOME JOB BUD!!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘,” while Abbey Romeo added, “Great job, Connor!!!!” One impressed viewer noted his natural talent, stating, “WAIT HES ACTUALLY GREAT AT ACTING,” while another declared, “This is his calling.”

Connor Tomlinson’s Character on the Show

In Brilliant Minds Season 2, Episode 3, titled “The Witness,” Connor Tomlinson plays a character named Tom. The episode’s plot involves Dr. Oliver Wolf and his team investigating a case concerning a non-verbal man with autism named Adam, who is suspected of pushing his caregiver onto train tracks.

Tom is one of Adam’s roommates in a group home. Tomlinson’s character is described as someone who “lives in a group home and has an affinity for the spy genre.” His scene occurs when Dr. Van Markus and a social worker visit the group home during their investigation. Though the scene is short, it provides important context for the episode’s medical mystery.

Brilliant Minds is a medical drama on NBC starring Zachary Quinto as the brilliant but unorthodox neurologist Dr. Oliver Wolf. The series is inspired by the real-life cases of famed neurologist and author Oliver Sacks.
