A Friendship Under Pressure
Matty and Olympia’s partnership has been strained, but they found common ground while helping a group of nuns with a housing issue. Working together on this case helped them start to rebuild their trust. During the case, Matty was troubled by a sound related to drug use, and Olympia was there to support her, showing the strength of their bond.
Their professional collaboration also extended to a high-stakes power play. They continued their secret plan to remove Senior, the firm’s managing partner, from his position. They were helped by Eva Munoz, Senior’s ex-wife, who returned with crucial information. Their goal was to gather 21 partner votes to force Senior out. Though they faced a setback when they lost a key vote, they managed to get back on track with help from a priest connected to Olympia’s past.
Senior’s Secret Assignment for Sarah
While Matty and Olympia plotted, Senior assigned Sarah a secret task. He instructed her to secretly photograph the datebook of Julian, his son and Olympia’s ex-husband. Senior wanted to find out if Julian had been poaching the firm’s clients before his planned departure.
Sarah spent nearly a month trying to get the photos. Her attempts made her interactions with Julian awkward, as he shifted between being charming and suspicious. Julian, meanwhile, secured a major new client named Incognity without breaking any rules, which helped restore his confidence. In the end, Sarah gave in and provided the photos to Senior, even though they proved Julian had not done anything wrong.
The Road Ahead for the Firm
The events of “Harm Reduction” set the stage for more conflict. The plan to oust Senior is moving forward, but his own manipulation of Sarah shows he is a formidable opponent. The episode ended with the future of Jacobson & Moore hanging in the balance, and every character’s loyalties are being tested.
