Actress Song Da Eun recently brought up her alleged involvement with the Burning Sun Scandal to refute it once again.

Song, who gained immense popularity in 2018 after appearing on the dating show Heart Signal 2, posted a long Instagram story, mentioning that in the past six years, she has lost multiple projects due to her name being associated with Seungri, the owner of the Burning Sun club.

When the Burning Sun Scandal surfaced in 2019, a former reporter claimed that Song was heavily involved in the matter. Since she was a former employee at a club called Monkey Museum, also owned by Seungri, the public didn’t find it hard to believe that the actress might have had connections to the Burning Sun case as well.

In her Instagram story, Song Da Eun explained that she met Seungri at a meal with her school seniors, and he treated her well as his junior. Later, he contacted Song, asking her to join his lounge club, Monkey Museum and she took up the offer. At the lounge club, Song said her job was to check reservations at the entrance, and she had worked for about a month since the club’s opening. She even agreed to provide her monthly salary documents to prove this claim.

Song Da Eun added that she went to get her health certificate from the district office for this job, and even then, she had no idea that the club was operating illegally. Though Song and many of her colleagues quit the job after a month or so, she was invited to Monkey Museum’s first-anniversary party. Pictures of her at the party spread online after she appeared in Heart Signal, which led to people believing that she worked for Burning Sun after Monkey Museum.

Song Da Eun urged the public to stop disseminating misinformation about her involvement with the Burning Sun Scandal, refuting the claims that she worked at the club and attracted young women to be preyed on.

Though Song’s agency had already refuted the rumors of her involvement with the scandal back in 2019, the actress brought it up again to offer a detailed explanation, probably due to the renewed public interest in the case after the recent BBC documentary. She is also not the only actress to talk about her rumored involvement in the case in recent times. Go Joon Hee also put Seungri on blast while addressing allegations of her connection to Burning Sun.

Meanwhile, Song Da Eun has been criticized intensely in recent times for allegedly trying to set up dating rumors between her and BTS member Jimin.
