The wait for more chaotic adventures in The Hole is almost over. After six years, the dark fantasy anime is finally returning with its second season. Fans of the lizard-headed Caiman and his gyoza-loving partner Nikaido will soon see the story continue where the first season left off.

Dorohedoro Season 2 is set to premiere on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. The new season, produced once again by the animation studio MAPPA, will be available for global audiences across multiple streaming platforms. The release schedule brings a special treat for viewers right from the start.

Episode 2 introduces a new character who plays a significant role in the story. Haru, a devil who loves to sing, makes her appearance. Haru is actually a former sorcerer and holds a connection to Professor Kasukabe as his wife. The episode also shows Caiman and Nikaido finally reaching Mastema, a location that has been teased throughout the first season.

Episode 3 focuses on En and his attempts to start a new business involving mushrooms, which never leads to anything good for anyone else. The episode also hints at Caiman beginning to remember something important about his past.

New Cast Member Joins Season 2

The production team has added a new voice to the cast for the second season. Ami Koshimizu will voice the character Haru, the devil who is also Professor Kasukabeโ€™s wife. Koshimizu shared her excitement about joining the series.
