“Her controversy aside but this woman is so creative.”
ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin said that she wouldn’t let her ongoing feud with HYBE Labels interfere with NewJeans‘ comeback, and so far, it seems like she has kept to that promise.
The girl group is planning on releasing two singles (“Bubble Gum” and “How Sweet”) in May and two (“Supernatural” and “Right Now”) in June, with the latter two being their Japanese debut. They already released a music video for “Bubble Gum” on April 27, and now they’re starting to release teasers for “Right Now”.
The teasers have revealed that “Right Now” will be a collaboration with Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami, who has previously worked for musical artists such as Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and even BLACKPINK.
On Min Hee Jin’s personal Instagram account, she shared a teaser video for “Right Now” that showcases some character design changes that Takashi Murakami made to each of the members.
Min also added a video clip and images of what appears to be a meeting between her, the artist, and some other staff members, in which a sneak peek of the creative process can be seen.
Netizens are amused that Min Hee Jin seems to be wearing the same infamous LA Dodgers hat she wore for her explosive press conference a couple of days ago.
It seems like there were plenty of cute doodles and ideas created during the meeting as they tried to get the perfect designs for each of NewJeans’ members!
Here’s how netizens are reacting to the posts made by the ADOR CEO.
We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for NewJeans, but hopefully their comeback will continue to go unscathed!
