Jeon Hye Jin’s announcement of her return to K-Dramas comes after about a year since her last appearance in the popular series Strangers. In Strangers, she portrayed Kim Eun Mi, a single mother with a daughter, bringing a unique color to a character rarely seen in K-Dramas. Many netizens even claimed they felt like Jeon created a brand new role through Kim Eun Mi.
Jeon left a strong impression in Strangers and sparked much anticipation for her next project, announced in November last year. However, the actress faced a difficult period after unexpectedly losing her actor husband, the late Lee Sun Kyun, in December last year.
Nevertheless, six months later, she now confirmed her role in Riding Life and is set to fully resume her activities. Fans and netizens are wishing Jeon good luck and many are expected to support her return to activities.
