What Happens Now That Kimmie Runs Things?
The official logline for the new episodes confirms the stakes have never been higher. The ruthless family behind the beauty brand—and the underground trafficking ring connected to it—finally faces a reckoning. Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) is no longer fighting for a seat at the table. She owns the entire table now .
But running the Bellarie empire means dealing with the Bellarie family. Horace’s children—Roy, Charles, and ex-wife Olivia—still refuse to accept that an outsider controls everything they thought was theirs. The trailer shows tension boiling over as Kimmie makes it clear she is not stepping aside.
Taylor Polidore Williams shared with Netflix’s Tudum that her character fully understands what power costs now. “Kimmie wants to be seen as legitimate. She is done proving she belongs and she’s claiming her place,” she said. “Doubt definitely fuels her. The difference now is that she understands the cost of power, and she confidently chooses it anyway” .
Mallory and Kimmie: From Enemies to Allies?
One of the biggest shifts coming in Part 2 involves the relationship between Kimmie and Mallory (Crystle Stewart) . The first half of the season was all about their fight for control. Now, survival might force them to work together.
The trailer hints that a bigger threat is coming for both women. Crystle Stewart explained that the dynamic is changing in a major way. “Mallory and Kimmie will always be two powerful forces in the same room,” she told Tudum. “But in Part 2, survival starts to matter more than rivalry. There’s a shift where they begin to recognize that their greatest threat might not be each other” .

Her marriage to Roy (Julian Horton) gets much darker in these new episodes. “Mallory didn’t marry Roy out of weakness; she married him with intention,” Stewart said. “In Part 2, we really see how calculated she is and how far she’s willing to go to protect herself” .
