The final season of the hit drama Bel-Air continues its rollout, with the next batch of episodes arriving soon. The series is delivering a climactic chapter for Will and the Banks family, and the release schedule for the new episodes is grouped for maximum impact.

Fans can mark their calendars for Sunday, December 1, 2025. On this date, not one, but two new episodes will drop on Peacock. Viewers on the East Coast can start streaming at 3:00 AM ET, while those on the West Coast can tune in at 12:00 AM PT. The two episodes releasing together are titled “Brother’s Keeper” and “Gorilla Glue and Duct Tape”.

How to Watch the New Episodes

Bel-Air is a Peacock original series, which means the streaming service is the exclusive online home for all episodes. The show is not available on traditional cable or other streaming platforms in the U.S.

To watch, you will need a Peacock subscription. The service offers two main plans: Peacock Premium, which costs $7.99 per month but includes advertising, and Peacock Premium Plus, which is ad-free for $16.99 per month. Some users may also have access to a free trial through other services like Amazon Prime.

A Look at the Final Season’s Story

Season 4 picks up with the Banks family navigating major life changes and the aftermath of past events. Will is working to balance the excitement of his senior year with the heavy expectations for his future, all while dealing with the trauma of his previous kidnapping. His cousin, Carlton, is facing the consequences of his own big decisions, which threaten to derail his plans for college.

The season also explores shifting dynamics within the household. An unexpected power struggle tests the long-standing brotherhood between Uncle Phil and Geoffrey, putting the butler’s loyalty to the family on the line. Meanwhile, Aunt Viv is grappling with the idea of reinventing herself as she looks at motherhood from a completely new perspective. The official synopsis from NBC outlines these core conflicts, showing a family at a pivotal crossroads.

The drama extends to the Banks sisters. Ashley is in her freshman year of high school and going through a rebellious phase, while Hilary is on a personal journey of self-exploration following the death of her husband, LaMarcus. In the first three episodes, Hilary has been away at a wellness center in Costa Rica, keeping in touch with the family via FaceTime.

Showrunner Carla Banks-Waddles explained this temporary departure, stating:

“Coco Jones is just busy. She’s a Grammy-winning musical artist. So we had to work around her schedule, which we were happy to do, because we support her and all of her beautiful dreams. She was very much committed to being a part of the season. We just needed to fit her in where we could get her.”

She also reassured fans that “Hilary is a big part of the Banks family, and we will definitely see her throughout the season,” noting the character will be a big part of the back half of the season.

Recap of the Season So Far

The season began with a three-episode premiere on November 24, 2025. The story immediately addressed cliffhangers from Season 3, including Vivian’s pregnancy and Geoffrey’s mysterious disappearance.

The most recent episode, “What Are You Doing for Thanksgiving?”, saw Will and Carlton successfully avoid a harsh prison sentence after their court hearing for destroying a car. The Banks’ Thanksgiving dinner was far from peaceful, as Will’s decision to invite his father, Lou, led to a major argument with Uncle Phil. The episode ended with Will learning that Lou plans to move to Philly for a job, leaving Will feeling abandoned once again, though the two eventually made peace. The episode also featured Geoffrey making a brief appearance at the dinner before leaving, and Hilary informing the family she would not be returning from Costa Rica for the holiday.
