According to court documents obtained by People magazine, Billy Ray Cyrus, 62, filed an emergency motion in a Tennessee court on June 13th. In the motion, he accuses Firerose, 37, of spending a staggering $96,986.05 on his credit cards between May 23rd and June 7th. This period is particularly significant because it coincides exactly with the date Cyrus filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct.” The motion also seeks a restraining order to prevent Firerose from making any further charges on his personal and business accounts.
Interestingly, Firerose’s legal team disputes these claims entirely. Her lawyers argue that there was “no emergency” and that Firerose had permission to use her husband’s credit cards since June 22nd. They further state that the couple had a habit of “routinely going over” her expenses together, suggesting her spending was approved.

The dueling claims raise questions about the couple’s financial situation during their brief marriage.
