On September 19, her agency, ODD ATELIER, announced Jennie’s solo Weverse community via Instagram. Soon after, Jennie shared her first video message, saying: “Hi, everyone, this is Jennie. I’m so excited to meet you through my personal Weverse community. You can find a variety of updates and content from me here. Hope to make lots of special memories together on Weverse.”
While BLACKPINK as a group is already active on the platform, Jennie is the first member to have her own solo community.

After the countdown finished, Jennie released an audio message calling her fans “Rubies.” This caused some controversy as another artist, Kwon Eunbi, already uses the name RUBI for her fans. Fans criticized Jennie’s agency for not researching the situation thoroughly.
ODD ATELIER responded by clarifying that “Rubies” was only used casually and would not be Jennie’s official fandom name. However, some netizens remained unhappy, pointing out the agency’s delayed response.
Jennie has also trademarked her English name, Jennie Ruby Jane, which many fans believe hints at her solo music being released under this name. Fans are eagerly awaiting her next steps in this new chapter of her career.
Dating Rumors with GOT7’s BamBam
