BLACKPINK has done it again. Their new song Jump has reached number one on iTunes in 47 countries, including the United States. This makes them the only girl group to achieve this feat multiple times. The song was released on July 11, 2025, and fans worldwide have been streaming it non-stop.
The groupโs agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed the news on July 12. Jump also debuted at number one on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart. Fans are calling this another proof that BLACKPINK remains the “Queens of K-pop.”
BLACKPINK Breaks Their Own Record With Jump
Before Jump, BLACKPINK set a record in 2022 with their hit Pink Venom, which also topped the US iTunes chart. Now, they have done it again, showing their lasting power in the music industry. The song reached number one in countries like South Korea, Japan, France, Brazil, and Australia.
Fans worked hard to make this happen. Many played the song on repeat and shared it on social media. Their efforts paid off quickly, as Jump climbed to the top in less than a day.
“THEY’RE HERE TO DOMINATE,” one fan wrote on social media.
“Queens of K-pop proving theyโre still unmatched,” another added.
Jump Marks BLACKPINKโs First Group Release in Nearly Three Years
The last time BLACKPINK released music as a full group was in September 2022 with their album Born Pink. Since then, each member focused on solo projects. Jennie, Lisa, Rosรฉ, and Jisoo all released their own music and even acted in TV shows.
Now, with Jump, they are back together. The song is part of their DEADLINE World Tour, which started in Seoul on July 5. Fans at the concert got to hear Jump live before its official release.
The music video for Jump also made headlines. It was directed by Dave Meyers, who has worked with big names like Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar. The video has a bold, high-energy style, different from their past work.
The Song Is Breaking Records Beyond iTunes
Jump is not just doing well on iTunes. It also got platinum certification on Chinaโs QQ Music and topped Japanโs AWA Hot Trending Songs chart. These wins show BLACKPINKโs strong influence in Asia.
On YouTube, the music video caused a technical glitch because so many people watched it at once. The likes on the video temporarily passed the view count, which rarely happens. YouTube later explained that their system was checking for fake views due to the huge traffic.
“They broke the internet, literally,” a fan joked online.
Whatโs Next for BLACKPINK?
The group is now on their DEADLINE World Tour, with shows in Los Angeles, Paris, London, and Tokyo among other cities. They will perform Jump live for fans around the world.
