A special event for fans of Bridgerton will make the first episode of the new season available to watch weeks before it arrives on Netflix. The show’s official online fan hub has organized a live virtual celebration that includes an early look at the first episode of Bridgerton Season 4.
The main release for the season is still scheduled for January 29, 2026. This early screening is part of a one-time online event called the Bridgerton Season 4 Premiere Masquerade. To watch the episode early, fans must sign up for the event before a deadline.
How To Watch The First Episode Early
The early premiere of Episode 1 is not a change to the global Netflix schedule. It is an exclusive perk for a special fan event hosted on Netflix’s Tudum website.
The virtual Bridgerton Season 4 Premiere Masquerade is set for January 14, 2026. The event will be broadcast live from the Palais Brongniart in Paris. Fans who register will be able to watch the first full episode of the new season during this stream. This is two weeks before the episode becomes available to all Netflix subscribers on January 29.
To get access, you must RSVP on the official Tudum event page by 12:30 AM Eastern Time on January 14, 2026. The event itself starts later that same day at 5:30 PM UTC. The schedule includes red carpet interviews with the cast, a special performance, and the early screening of the season premiere.

Official Season 4 Release Schedule
For the wider global audience, the release plan for Bridgerton Season 4 follows the two-part model used in Season 3.
Part 1, containing the first four episodes, will be released on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Part 2, with the final four episodes, will arrive on Thursday, February 26, 2026. The entire season will have a total of eight episodes.
The release time is expected to be 12:00 AM Pacific Time (3:00 AM Eastern Time) on the listed dates, which is Netflix’s standard practice for original series.
The Story And New Faces Of Season 4
Season 4 will focus on the love story of Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson. The season adapts the third book in Julia Quinn’s series, An Offer from a Gentleman, which features a “Cinderella”-inspired romance.
Benedict meets his romantic match, Sophie Baek, at a masquerade ball hosted by his mother, Violet Bridgerton. Sophie is played by newcomer Yerin Ha. Benedict is instantly taken with the mysterious “Lady in Silver,” but does not know she is actually Sophie, a maid working for a demanding noblewoman. A key part of the story will be Benedict’s struggle between his fantasy of the lady from the ball and his growing feelings for the real Sophie.
Luke Thompson shared his thoughts on the story:
“The scripts that Jess [Brownell] and her team have come up with are dynamite… The storyline is a bit of a twist on ‘Cinderella.’ You remember being told those stories as a child — the magic and the romance of them. It’s really exciting to have that weaved into the world that we know of Bridgerton.”
Several new characters will join the cast. Katie Leung plays Lady Araminta Gun, a twice-widowed mother determined to see her daughters married well. Her daughters are Rosamund Li (Michelle Mao), who sets her sights on Benedict, and Posy Li (Isabella Wei), her kinder younger sister.
Familiar faces from the Bridgerton family and the wider social circle of the ton will also return. This includes Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton as the now-married Penelope and Colin Bridgerton, Claudia Jessie as Eloise, and Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton.
The Future Of The Bridgerton Series
Production on Season 4 has already been completed. Netflix has also confirmed that the show will continue with Season 5 and Season 6. While not officially confirmed, speculation is strong that the next seasons will focus on the love stories of siblings Eloise and Francesca Bridgerton.
