BTS has added nine new Gold and Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), solidifying their position as the most-certified Asian act in history. The group earned Platinum status for four songs and Gold for five others, further expanding their dominance in the U.S. music market.

On June 23, 2025, the RIAA updated its certifications, awarding BTS Platinum honors for Run, Fake Love, DNA, and Blood Sweat & Tears, each surpassing one million units sold in the U.S. These tracks join their previous Platinum hits, bringing their total to 13 Platinum-certified singles.

Additionally, five BTS songsโ€”Save Me, Spring Day, On, Black Swan, and Permission to Danceโ€”crossed 500,000 units, earning Gold certifications. This increases their total Gold-certified singles to 20. The RIAA counts a mix of digital sales, physical sales, and streaming figures for certifications.

BTS now holds the record for the most RIAA-certified songs among Asian artists. Their 2013 hit Dynamite remains their highest-certified track at 5x Platinum, while Butter holds 2x Platinum status. Solo releases by members Jimin (Like Crazy) and Jungkook (Seven) have also achieved Platinum.

“These new achievements only strengthen the septet’s position as the most RIAA-certified Asian act in history,” reported South Korean media outlet My Daily. The groupโ€™s consistent success across physical, digital, and streaming platforms highlights their global appeal.

“BTSโ€™ popularity goes beyond just selling records. Their consistent success in physical, digital, and streaming sales shows their unmatched influence,” noted Forbes. The groupโ€™s ability to connect with fans worldwide has made them a dominant force in the industry.
