BTS leader Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, has added another international honor to his name. His music video for “LOST!” won second place in the Best Concept category at the 2025 Berlin Music Video Awards. The achievement has sparked massive pride among fans worldwide.

The award ceremony took place on June 18, 2025. The “LOST!” music video, released on May 24, 2024, is the title track from RMโ€™s second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person. The videoโ€™s unique storytelling and artistic visuals earned critical acclaim.

Fans quickly celebrated the win on social media. Many called the music video a “timeless classic” and praised RMโ€™s creativity. The Berlin Music Video Awards highlight innovative and visually striking music videos from global artists.

“Namjoon’s LOST! is indeed a timeless classic.”

“LOST! found its placeโ€”on the global stage. #RMโ€™s artistic brilliance just earned 2nd place at the 2025 Berlin Music Video Awards under the Best Concept category.”

“#RM has secured 2nd place at the 2025 Berlin Music Video Awards in the ‘Best Concept’ category for the ‘LOST!’ MV. This is a highly commendable achievement.”

The “LOST!” music video was directed by Aube Perrie, known for his work with artists like Harry Styles and The Hives. The videoโ€™s concept explores themes of self-discovery and companionship. According to a press release, it conveys a hopeful message: “Even if one is lost, perhaps it may all be fine if lost with friends by oneโ€™s side.”

This is not the first major recognition for “LOST!” The music video previously earned nominations at the Hollywood Music Video Awards and the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) Awards. It has now received 14 international nominations, making RM the first and only Korean artist to achieve such recognition in these categories.

“I mean, can you believe that LOST! MV got 14 international nominationsโ€ฆ and RM/NAMJOON is the first and only Asian artist to achieve all of this.”

RMโ€™s second album, Right Place, Wrong Person, features 11 tracks, including collaborations with artists like Little Simz and Moses Sumney. The album debuted at No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums in 59 countries. Despite RMโ€™s ongoing military service, his music continues to break records.

Fans also noted the timing of the award. RM is set to be discharged from military service on June 10, 2025, alongside fellow BTS members V (Kim Taehyung), Jungkook, Jimin, and Suga. Currently, only Jin and J-Hope are active in solo projects.

“Namjoon winning awards for the ‘Lost!’ MV is so well-deserved! The visuals, emotion, and storytelling were on another level. Itโ€™s amazing to see his artistry getting global recognitionโ€”not just as a rapper or leader of BTS, but as a true creative force. Proud is an understatement.”

“Hoping for Namjoon to achieve more accolades in future for ‘LOST!’ He deserves the world.”

The Berlin Music Video Awards nomination list included strong competitors like Glass Animals, Tommy Cash, and James Blake. RMโ€™s nomination marked a historic moment as the first Korean artist recognized in the festivalโ€™s Best Concept category.

In addition to this win, RM recently dominated the Shark Music Video Awards 2025, where “LOST!” won Best R&B/Soul Video, Best Music Video (Grand Prix), and Best Direction. His collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “Neva Play,” also won Best Animation.

“RM got many unique recognitions from his album RPWP.”

“He keeps collecting awards after awards. All the best Joon.”
