The authorities clarified that SUGA’s seated scooter, which he was operating at the time, does not require a license plate, effectively addressing and resolving any related controversy.

On August 23, 2024, SUGA attended questioning at Yongsan Police Station. During this visit, he publicly bowed to the media and issued a heartfelt apology for his actions. He also took to Weverse, a platform he often uses to communicate with his fans, to express his remorse and commitment to being more responsible in the future.
It’s worth noting that SUGA’s legal representation in this case is being handled by the same lawyer who previously represented Kangin, a former member of Super Junior, in a DUI case in 2016.
