Eagle-eyed BTS fans, also known as ARMY, have uncovered a sweet secret hidden within the artwork for two beloved solo tracks by BTS members V and Jimin. This discovery strengthens the bond between the two bandmates, further solidifying their reputation as best friends within the group.

A Photo Taken by V and a Bear-y Special Gift

The secret connection lies in the cover art for V’s single “Winter Bear” and Jimin’s single “Promise.” For “Promise,” the cover image features a photo of Jimin himself. But here’s the twist: V is the one who captured that photo!

On the other hand, the cover art for “Winter Bear” showcases two adorable teddy bears. These furry friends hold a special significance because they were actually gifted to V by Jimin in a past episode (episode 85) of the popular BTS variety show “Run BTS.”

By incorporating these personal touches into their solo work, V and Jimin have unknowingly created a subtle connection between their songs, showcasing the tight bond they share. This discovery has further endeared them to fans who affectionately refer to them as “VMIN,” a term used to describe their close friendship.

Exploring the Solo Tracks: Winter Bear and Promise

Both “Winter Bear” and “Promise” were released as non-album singles, initially finding a home on the music streaming platform SoundCloud.

V’s “Winter Bear” arrived on August 10, 2019. This soulful ballad features a heartwarming music video directed by V himself and available on the BTS YouTube channel. The song’s lyrics express a yearning for the return of someone special.

Jimin’s “Promise” dropped on December 30, 2018, becoming the biggest debut for a song within the first 24 hours on SoundCloud at that time. This mellow pop ballad features a beautiful guitar melody and lyrics that speak of a commitment to a brighter future.

Jimin’s Upcoming Solo Release: MUSE

While uncovering hidden connections is always fun, BTS fans are eagerly looking forward to brand new music! Jimin is gearing up to release his highly anticipated second solo album titled “MUSE” on July 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM Korean Standard Time (KST), which translates to 9:30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST). The album’s lead single, “Who,” will also be released on the same date and time.

Fans can’t wait to hear this new music, but that’s not all! As a special treat, Jimin will also be dropping a pre-release track titled “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” on June 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM KST.

With the release of “MUSE” on the horizon and the discovery of the sweet connection between “Winter Bear” and “Promise,” BTS fans have a lot to celebrate!
