BTS’ V, known by his real name Kim Taehyung, and renowned singer Park Hyo Shin have announced the release of a new version of their song Winter Ahead, featuring the Yun Seok Cheol Trio. This jazz-infused interpretation is set to be released on December 20, 2024, at 2 PM KST.

The original Winter Ahead was launched on November 29, 2024, and quickly secured the 99th position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking V’s sixth solo entry. This new rendition promises a unique blend of piano, bass, and rhythmic instruments, enhancing the intimate feel of the original track with live performance vibes.

V’s Solo Journey and Collaborations

V debuted as part of BTS in 2013 and has since explored solo ventures. His first solo album, Layover, released in 2023, included hits like Slow Dancing, Love Me Again, and Rainy Days. Despite his current military service, V has continued to engage with fans through various projects. He appeared in IU’s music video for “Love Wins All” and released an English single titled FRI(END)S.
