BTS V aka Kim Taehyung, has set a new record on TikTok just days after completing his military service. A dance video featuring V and choreographer Lee Jung-Lee has become the most-liked K-pop clip of 2025, amassing 13.1 million likes on TikTok. The video, posted on June 11, has also crossed 70 million views on TikTok and 69 million views on Instagram, proving V’s massive global influence.

The video shows V and Lee Jung-Lee performing a high-energy routine to Finatticz’s Don’t Drop That Thun Thun. Their matching military-style outfits led fans to nickname the trend “Military Twins,” sparking countless recreations across social media.

V’s Social Media Dominance Without an Official Account

What makes this achievement even more impressive is that V does not have a personal TikTok account. Despite this, his collaborations consistently break records. The video now holds the title of the most-liked TikTok post by a K-pop artist in 2025, surpassing even full-time influencers.

Fans worldwide have flooded platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts with their own versions of the dance. Many praised V’s sharp moves and chemistry with Lee Jung-Lee, calling it a perfect comeback moment after his military discharge on June 10, 2025.

Second Viral Hit Adds to the Hype

V and Lee Jung-Lee didn’t stop at one viral moment. They also dropped a second dance video to GloRilla’s WATCHU KNO BOUT ME, which has gained 51.5 million views and 3.9 million likes on Instagram. While not as massive as their first collab, it further cemented their status as a dynamic dance duo.

This isn’t their first time going viral. In November 2024, while V was still in the military, they released a dance video to Ludacris’ What’s Your Fantasy? That clip now has 82.6 million views and 7.3 million likes on Instagram, filmed during one of V’s approved military breaks.

Fans Celebrate V’s Return With Record-Breaking Support

Since his military discharge, V has been actively reconnecting with fans. He held a live broadcast on Weverse hours after leaving the service, expressing gratitude to ARMYs for their patience. He also shared playful updates, including golfing adventures and a discharge celebration party with friends like actor Park Seo-joon and pianist Cho Seong-Jin.
