Dakota Johnson revealed her co-star Pedro Pascal joked about her starting an OnlyFans account. The actress shared his unusual idea during a recent interview. Pascal suggested she could earn money just by wiggling her toe on the platform.

Johnson admitted she knows little about OnlyFans but found the concept interesting. The conversation happened while she was answering fan questions for Elle UK. A fan had asked for advice about their boyfriend following OnlyFans models on Instagram.

“Pedro Pascal told me that I should have an OnlyFans. That I could just like wiggle my toe and make money,” Johnson said. “Should I do that? I don’t know anything about that. OnlyFans is the place where people go to watch people do weird things?”

The Fifty Shades of Grey star seemed both confused and intrigued by the platform. She asked if OnlyFans models are hotter than regular models. Johnson also joked about checking out the models herself if she knew how.

“I feel like I would look at OnlyFans models on Instagram if I knew how to do that,” she added. “It sounds interesting. Sounds intriguing.” While Johnson entertained the idea, she is unlikely to join OnlyFans soon. The actress has multiple upcoming films keeping her busy.

Pedro Pascal and Dakota Johnson star together in the upcoming romantic comedy Materialists. The movie is set to release on June 13. During their Elle UK interview, the duo also discussed their first meeting, which Johnson does not remember.

Pascal recalled they met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2014. He said he and Sarah Paulson looked after Johnson since she was alone. Johnson was surprised she had no memory of the encounter. “That’s so crazy that I don’t remember meeting you there,” she said.

The pair met again at the Met Gala, where Johnson failed to recognize Pascal. He admitted feeling hurt but joked about it now. “I loved you the first time and then I didnโ€™t think you were that nice to me at the Met Gala,” Pascal said. “You weren’t mean, but I had a moment of feeling a little stupid.”

Johnson blamed the Met Gala’s overwhelming atmosphere for her forgetfulness. “I find the Met Gala is like The Twilight Zone,” she explained. “I don’t feel I connect with any human beings in a real way.” She also teased Pascal for bringing up the incident repeatedly.

“This is maybe the 37th time we’ve had this conversation,” Johnson joked. “The 37th time Pedro makes me feel like an absolute piece of s— for not remembering him.” Despite the awkward start, the two have developed a close friendship.

OnlyFans has become a popular platform for celebrities to earn extra income. Stars like Denise Richards, Cardi B, and Lily Allen have used it. The site allows creators to share exclusive content with paying subscribers. While mostly known for adult content, it also hosts fitness trainers, chefs, and musicians.

Johnson is currently focused on her acting career. She stars in Materialists alongside Pascal and Chris Evans. The actress is also working on Verity, a film adaptation of Colleen Hooverโ€™s novel. It features Josh Hartnett and Anne Hathaway and releases in May 2026.

In Verity, Johnson plays a ghostwriter hired to complete a bestselling authorโ€™s work. The author, played by Hathaway, is in a coma after an accident. Hartnett, who stars as the authorโ€™s husband, praised Johnsonโ€™s performance. “Sheโ€™s fantastic,” he said in an interview.

Johnson is no stranger to forming strong bonds with co-stars. She remains close with Jamie Dornan, her Fifty Shades of Grey co-star. The two faced rumors of a feud but have always been good friends. “Heโ€™s like a brother to me,” Johnson once told Vanity Fair.

The actress also supports sexual wellness through her work with the brand Maude. She joined as a co-creative director and investor in 2020. Johnson believes in making intimate products accessible to everyone. “Sexual wellness is a fundamental human right,” she told Vogue.
