In the second episode of Dare You to Death, the mysterious death of a college student transforms into a chilling hunt for a vigilante killer. Detectives Jade and Kamin discover that the victimโs friend group, known as the Avengers, is harboring terrible secrets, and someone is making them confess through a deadly game of “Truth or Dare.”
The official autopsy report confirms that Puifai was murdered. The substances found in her systemโsodium thiopental, pancuronium bromide, and potassium chlorideโare a lethal cocktail used in judicial executions. Furthermore, forensic evidence proves a female voice made the emergency call, contradicting the group’s original statements and deepening the detectives’ suspicion that the friends are lying.
What Happens in the Episode?
The episode opens with student Tar in a panic, receiving an ominous “Truth or Dare” letter featuring a photo of his friend group with all their faces scratched out. He suspects his friend Champ is behind it, but the threat is very real.
As Jade and Kamin investigate the Avengers, Champ reveals a disturbing truth about Tar. Behind his nerdy appearance, Tar was a serial predator who drugged and assaulted women, including Puifai, filming his crimes to silence his victims. His friends were aware but said nothing.
That night at the Drink Me bar, Tar is attacked by a masked figure. Beaten and drugged, he is forced to play “Truth or Dare.” When asked if he raped Puifai, he confesses. The assailant then kills him, leaving a “Truth” card on his body. By the time Jade and Kamin arrive, they find only Tar’s corpse, realizing the killer is always one step ahead.
“No matter how shitty someone is, no one has the right to play vigilante,” Kamin reminds Jade after they discover Tar’s horrific collection of videos.
Searching Tarโs room, the detectives find his “Truth or Dare” letter, which includes not just the scratched group photo but also pictures of his victims. Kamin concludes they are no longer investigating a simple murder but a potential serial killer targeting the entire Avengers group. This theory is confirmed when another member, Tonkla, receives an identical letter accusing him of complicity.
The episode ends with Jade terrified for his younger brother Jay, who is part of the targeted friend group. Kamin stakes his professional reputation on their partnership, promising they will catch the killer if they work together.

The series stars the popular duo Archen Aydin (Joong) as the cheerful Captain Jade and Natachai Boonprasert (Dunk) as the disciplined Inspector Kamin. Their evolving relationship, marked by professional clashes and growing attraction, forms a key subplot to the dark thriller.

The series is planned for a total of 10 episodes.
