The series has a planned break. Episode 2 aired on December 25, 2025, but the show will not air a new episode on January 1, 2026, due to the New Year celebration. This makes the return on January 8 the next entry in the series.

A Complete Recap of Episode 2
The second episode confirmed that the first victim, Puifai, was murdered. While all her friends took the same drugs at a party, Puifai was later injected with a lethal mix of three substances that caused her heart to fail.
The investigation by Jade and Kamin turned to Puifai’s friend group, where another student, Tar, received a mysterious letter. He was later approached by a disguised person at a club who forced him to play a game of “truth or dare.” When Tar chose “truth,” he was asked if he had sexually assaulted Puifai. After initially lying, Tar admitted to the crime. Following his confession, the mysterious figure killed him. By the time Jade and Kamin arrived at the club, Tar was already dead.
This event led the detectives to a critical realization: the killer is systematically targeting members of this friend group, and each victim receives a letter beforehand. The situation becomes personal for Captain Jade, as his younger brother, Jay, is also part of the targeted social circle.
What to Expect in Episode 3
The preview for the upcoming episode shows the investigation focusing on Champ, another member of the friend group and the son of a powerful MP. Champ is a person of interest because he was the one who sent the letter to Tar. Jade and Kamin will try to question him, but his status makes the interrogation difficult.
The dynamic between the two lead detectives is also set to develop further. The official preview hints at growing closeness between them, with Jade expressing concern for Kamin’s safety as they dive deeper into the dangerous case.
With two murders confirmed and a pattern established, the pressure is on for Jade and Kamin to identify the killer before another letter is delivered. The fact that Jade’s brother is in the crosshairs adds a layer of personal urgency to the police work.
