The newly launched teaser gives us a peek into the sweet past of Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min) and Young Joo (Jisoo) as a college couple, building a touching backstory before the zombie chaos hits. A flashback scene shows Young Joo reminiscing about Jae Yoon tying her shoelaces, a stark contrast to the present where she ties them herself, tearfully saying, “You said they’d never come undone.”
But things quickly take a strange turn when Young Joo’s group stumbles upon a perpetually drunk college applicant, played by Tang Jun Sang. Deciding against leaving him behind, they take him along. This is when Alex (Lee Hak Joo) makes an interesting observation. He notices the zombies are strangely avoiding the intoxicated newcomer.
