The story saw Ko Da-rim collapse from exhaustion, an event that forced team leader Kong Ji-hyeok to finally acknowledge the deep feelings he has been trying to deny. A Web of Confessions and Misunderstandings
Episode 6 immediately addressed the cliffhanger from the previous week, where Ji-hyeok saw photographer Kim Seon-u kissing Ha-yeong. Believing Seon-u to be Da-rim’s husband, Ji-hyeok was horrified at what he thought was an act of betrayal. He desperately tried to shield Da-rim from seeing the scene.

The next day, Da-rim pushed herself too hard at work. The stress and exhaustion, combined with a pre-existing stomach condition, became too much. She suddenly collapsed in the office, clutching her stomach in pain. A panicked Ji-hyeok immediately rushed her to the hospital.
A Realization at the Hospital
Watching over a sleeping Da-rim in the hospital, Ji-hyeok was overwhelmed by his emotions. His concern and fear for her well-being made it impossible for him to keep pretending. He finally admitted to himself how much he truly cares for her.
His resolve hardened when Seon-u called Da-rim’s phone. Remembering the kiss he witnessed, Ji-hyeok made a decisive choice. He ignored the call, no longer willing to stand aside.
