The story of Go Da-rim and Gong Ji-hyeok has reached its happy conclusion. The final episode of Dynamite Kiss, which aired on December 25, 2025, delivered a joyful ending for the couple and their friends. After overcoming corporate schemes, a devastating accident, and memory loss, the series ended with a time jump showing Da-rim as a successful CEO and the couple married with two children.
The climax of the corporate conflict took place during a tense shareholder meeting. Ji-hyeok’s sister, Gong Ji-hye, and her partner Yoo Tae-yeong planned to take control of the family company, Natural BeBe. They falsely accused Da-rim of being a spy who leaked company secrets to a rival firm. To protect Ji-hyeok and her colleagues from losing their jobs, Da-rim even pretended to be guilty and broke up with Ji-hyeok.
Ji-hyeok, however, refused to believe the accusations. He conducted his own investigation and discovered the truth. At the meeting, he presented clear evidence. He proved that Ji-hye’s personal assistant had used Da-rim’s computer to send the leaked information. He also revealed that Tae-yeong was responsible for a past arson attack on a company exhibition. With this proof, he cleared Da-rim’s name completely.
The most powerful moment came when Ji-hyeok brought his mother, Kim In-ae, into the room. He explained to the shareholders how his father had illegally taken control of the company while confining In-ae to a hospital. With legal documents proving her fitness, In-ae reclaimed her position as the rightful CEO of the company she founded.
Just as peace seemed to return, a final act of revenge caused a major crisis. Humiliated by his failure, Yoo Tae-yeong intentionally hit Ji-hyeok with his car. Ji-hyeok was severely injured and rushed to the hospital, where he remained unconscious for days.
Da-rim stayed by his side, nursing him day and night until he finally woke up. However, the head injury from the accident caused post-traumatic amnesia. Ji-hyeok had lost all memories of his relationship with Da-rim. His memory had reset to a point before they first met in Jeju Island. He did not recognize Da-rim, the woman who had just cared for him.
The doctor told Da-rim that Ji-hyeok might remember if he revisited impactful past experiences.
Following the doctor’s advice, Da-rim and both of their mothers tried to recreate special moments from his past with her, like when they picked tangerines together. Sadly, nothing worked. Ji-hyeok only remembered a blurry figure, not Da-rim as a real person. Heartbroken, Da-rim respected his wish for distance, and they parted ways.
During this difficult year apart, Da-rim focused on her career. She faced financial strain and even sold her home. In a kind turn of events, Ji-hyeok’s mother, Kim In-ae, bought the house. She wanted to repay the kindness Da-rim’s mother had shown her in the past.
More importantly, In-ae saw Da-rim’s talent and determination. She encouraged Da-rim to start her own business and became the first investor in Da-rim’s new venture. The company was named Dream and Baby, and it operated with support from Natural BeBe. Many of Da-rim’s former colleagues from the project team joined her new company, happily working together again.
A full year after the accident, fate intervened. Da-rim received a tip about her long-missing sister working at a resort in Jeju Island. She traveled there and, in a twist of fate, packed the same blue dress she wore during her first pretend date with Ji-hyeok.
To enter a banquet at the resort to look for her sister, Da-rim changed into the dress. At that same party, Ji-hyeok was also present on business. Their paths crossed in the same location where they first met and shared their initial “dynamite kiss”. As Da-rim tried to leave, she was pushed and accidentally fell into Ji-hyeok, and their lips met once more.

This second “Dynamite Kiss” worked like magic. The familiar feeling and the sight of Da-rim in the blue dress triggered a flood of returning memories. Ji-hyeok remembered everything—their first meeting, their struggles, and their love. He looked at Da-rim and asked if they could “do it all over again,” referring to their kiss. Their love story had come full circle.
After their emotional reunion in Jeju, the couple returned to Seoul. Ji-hyeok soon proposed to Da-rim, and she accepted. The finale then showed a jump forward in time of several years.
