“It’s impossible to not like RIIZE’s Shotaro😭”
You might think that employees of Korean entertainment companies would get desensitized to being around K-Pop idols regularly. After all, idols are just people too, and being around them behind-the-scenes on a regular basis seems like it would help a person see them as just working professionals rather than idols to actually, well, idolize.
But it seems that that’s not always the case, and an example of a K-Pop employee swooning over an idol has recently caught attention online!
Using the Korean workplace app Blind, employees of Korean entertainment companies can interact with each other with verification of which company they work for while still remaining anonymous. This app has been used to reveal conversations between employees before, such as when the inner status of SM Entertainment was exposed earlier this year.
An employee at HYBE Labels recently revealed a soft spot for RIIZE member and SM Entertainment idol Shotaro, even sharing a selfie of the idol in their interaction.
Hybe employee: Shotaro
ㄴ Sweet and kind
ㄴ By the way, the company is…?
Even more endearing, and a bigger sign of the employee being an overall RIIZE fan, is their username: Bambi Killer. Bambi is a nickname for Sungchan, and Wonbin once wore a shirt with the phrase “Bambi Killer” on it, so it has become an inside joke for the fandom.
People are reacting with amusement and leaving relatable comments in response to the HYBE employee’s words!
We’re sure there are plenty of other K-Pop fans who have become professionals in the industry!
