The third season of the Netflix thriller The Night Agent has arrived, and as expected, it came with a high body count. The new episodes follow Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) as he tracks down a missing Treasury agent and uncovers a massive conspiracy that leads straight to the White House.

With a terrorist group planning attacks and political corruption at the highest levels, many characters did not make it to the end. Here is a breakdown of every major death in The Night Agent Season 3, from the shocking early moments to the final act of revenge.

The Attack on Flight Pima 12

The season opens with a devastating act of terror. The LFS group, a terrorist organization, attacks Flight Pima 12, killing all the passengers on board. This event sets the entire season in motion, as it is connected to a dark money network involving Walcott Capital Bank and an arms dealer named Raul Zapata.

Catherine Weaver Dies in a Car Bomb Explosion

One of the hardest deaths to watch happens early in the season. Catherine Weaver (Amanda Warren), Peterโ€™s handler and a veteran Night Action agent, dies in the second episode. Peter and Catherine had planned to trap the intelligence broker Jacob Monroe (Louis Herthum). Peter wore a wire to record a meeting, and Catherine waited for the right moment to move in.

However, Monroe was suspicious and sent a decoy van to trick her. As Catherine approached the vehicle she thought held Peter, it exploded. She was thrown to the ground and died instantly. In the next episode, Aiden Mosley (Albert Jones) confirms to Peter that Catherine did not survive.

Journalist Mike Fonseca is Poisoned

Mike Fonseca is a journalist who got too close to the truth about Walcott Capital and its CEO, Freya Myers (Michaela Watkins). Freya hired a hitman known only as The Father (Stephen Moyer) to stop him. In episode two, The Father kills Fonseca at a bar by slipping poison into his drink.

Vernon Tyvek and Brian Mott

Vernon Tyvek is assassinated by The Father in episode three on the orders of Freya Myers.

Brian Mott, a White House caterer, meets a similar fate in the same episode. Mott was helping Jenny Hagan (Jennifer Morrison), the First Lady, pass secret information to Jacob Monroe. When the situation became dangerous, Jenny tried to back out, but Mott refused because he needed the money for his child’s medical treatment. When Chelsea Arrington confronted them, things escalated, and Brian ended up dead.

Senator Lansing

Senator Lansing becomes another target of The Father. He is killed with a headshot in episode four while journalist Isabel De Leon (Genesis Rodriguez) is questioning him. His death shows how far the conspiracy will go to silence anyone in power who might talk.

The Fatherโ€™s Past and Monroeโ€™s Security

A flashback in episode six reveals the dark origin of The Fatherโ€™s son. It shows that the boy is not his biological child. The Father found the boy after killing his biological parents and decided to raise him as his own.

In the same episode, The Father is ordered by Freya to kill Isabel, who is revealed to be Monroeโ€™s daughter. While Isabel survives the attempt, Jacob Monroeโ€™s security detail does not. They are killed during the attack.

Sofia De Leon

Sofia De Leon is a tragic figure from the past. She was the woman Monroe loved years ago. An arms dealer named Raul Zapata suspected her of leaking information, but it was actually Monroe who was responsible. Zapata had Sofia sent to prison, where she died after giving birth to their daughter, Isabel. This backstory explains Monroeโ€™s deep hatred for Zapata and his complicated relationship with his daughter.

Jacob Monroe is Executed

Jacob Monroe is one of the most significant deaths in the finale. After working with Peter to expose the conspiracy, Monroe becomes a liability to President Richard Hagan (Ward Horton). The President orders his loyal Night Agent, Adam (David Lyons), to eliminate Monroe and make it look like suicide.

Adam drives Monroe to a safehouse under the pretense of helping him escape. When Monroe opens his safe to get his passport, Adam shoots him in the head. He wipes his fingerprints off the gun and places it in Monroeโ€™s hand. When Peter arrives, Adam lies and tells him Monroe took his own life.

Raul Zapata and the LFS Members

In episode nine, the pieces start to fall into place. Monroe convinces David Hutson to reveal the location of Raul Zapata. Once the location is confirmed, President Hagan orders Zapata to be taken out. The nefarious arms dealer is killed, removing one of the key players in the terror funding network.

During the same episode, multiple LSF members are killed in a firefight after a truck full of explosives is submerged in water to prevent an attack.

The Presidentโ€™s Night Action Assassins

In the final episode, episode ten, President Hagan sends several of his loyal Night Action assassins to kill Peter, Isabel, and Freya. They attack Freyaโ€™s apartment and later pursue the group through the city. Several of these agents die during a brutal fight with Peter on a subway platform and in the ensuing chaos.

Freya Myers Gets a Taste of Her Own Medicine

Freya Myers believes she has won. After a live televised interview where she confesses to her ties with the President and his wife, she is given a new identity, “Nina,” and her freedom in exchange for her testimony. The Hagan administration falls, and Freya thinks she is safe.

However, she had previously threatened The Father, telling him she would eventually come after him and his son. The Father, now retired and using the alias “Henry,” did not forget. In the final moments of the season, he approaches Freya at a seaside bar. He slips a fatal dose of the same poison he used on Mike Fonseca into her martini. As she drinks it, she realizes what is happening, but it is too late. The Father walks away, leaving her to die.
