Baekhyun from the popular group EXO is reportedly coming back to variety shows after a long break. He will be on the second season of Great Escape: Reboot.
Baekhyun Joins Great Escape: Reboot
On December 28, 2024, a report from the South Korean news site Star News said that Baekhyun will be on the TVING show The Great Escape: Reboot. This new season will be made by Lee Woo Hyung, who is known for working on shows like The Backpacker Chef, Korean Hostel in Spain, and Business Genius Baeksajang. The show stopped making new episodes in 2022 because the original producer, Jung Jong Yeon, left the company.
About the Great Escape Show
The Great Escape is a unique show where people try to escape from different places. It started in July 2018 and became popular because of its interesting stories, creative sets, and big production. There were three more seasons after the first one: Season 2 in 2019, Season 3 in 2020, and Season 4 in 2021.
Baekhyun recently released a solo album called Hello, World. It sold a lot of copies on the first day and became the best-selling album by a solo artist in 2024. He has also sold over a million copies of his albums, making him a triple-million seller. He also released a music video for his song Pineapple Slice and other songs like Good Morning, Rendez-Vous, Cold Heart, Woo, and Truth Be Told.

Baekhyun’s Agency and EXO Activities
At the start of 2024, Baekhyun said he was leaving SM Entertainment and starting his own company called INB100. He will do his solo work there. But he is still part of EXO and will do group activities with SM Entertainment. Chen and Xiumin from EXO also joined his company for their solo work.
Baekhyun also had his first solo tour in Asia in 2024. It started on March 16, 2024, at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. He first started doing solo music in 2019 with City Lights and then released two more albums, Delight in 2020 and Bambi in 2021.
