Fans of World of Street Woman Fighter are upset after episode 5 focused on vlogs instead of dance battles. Many called it a “filler” episode and want the show to return to competition.

The latest episode of World of Street Woman Fighter aired on June 24, 2025, but it was not what fans expected. Instead of showing the intense MEGA CREW mission battles, the episode featured the dance crews traveling around South Korea in a vlog-style format.

Fans took to social media to express their frustration. Many felt the episode wasted time when they were eager to see the competition results.

“Letโ€™s skip to the battle part,” wrote one fan on X.

“Filler as episode while weโ€™re fighting for our lives to figure out who got eliminated,”* said another.

“At least show us their practice lah, this is so boring,” added a netizen.

The show is currently in the middle of the MEGA CREW mission, where dance crews perform with over 30 dancers. Judges Lia Kim, J.Y. Park, and Mike Song will evaluate the performances, but their scores were not revealed in this episode.

Instead, the episode showed the crews relaxing and sightseeing. Some fans felt this content should have been separate from the main show.

“Please can this not be a filler episode. Like yes I love seeing the contestants having fun but Iโ€™d much rather that be separate YouTube content than take up a massive chunk of the main show,” a fan commented.

The MEGA CREW mission is a crucial part of the competition. Crews must include their countryโ€™s culture in their performance and film a 20-second high-angle shot of their choreography. Fans can vote by watching the crewsโ€™ videos on YouTube.

So far, OOJ leads with 6.7 million views, followed by MOTIV (4.2 million) and AG SQUAD (3.9 million). The views will give crews an advantage in the competition.

The next mission, Dance Film Mission, was also announced. Fans can vote for their favorite performance until June 27. The results of the MEGA CREW mission will be revealed in the next episode.

Some fans joked that the vlog episode was a way to soften the blow before eliminations.

“Them tryna soften us up by showing the vlogs firstโ€ฆone last pupcup before they put us down,” a fan tweeted.

Others suggested the episode should have been labeled differently.

“Filler WSWF episode, shouldโ€™ve made it a 4.5 instead of ep 5,”* wrote an X user.

This is not the first time a reality show has faced backlash for filler content. Many competition series include behind-the-scenes episodes, but fans often prefer the main action.

World of Street Woman Fighter is a popular dance survival show where crews compete to be the best. The current season features global teams, making the battles even more intense.
