Global fans of BTS member Kim Taehyung (V) have organized a stunning musical fountain show at Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang City to celebrate his military discharge on June 10, 2025. The event, planned by fanbases V INSIDE and BTSV_Support_Kr, features his solo track “Slow Dancing” and BTS’s hit “IDOL”, synced with water, lights, and choreography.

The show runs from June 3 to June 8, with performances at 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM each night. Fans chose Ilsan Lake Park because Taehyung once shared in his 2016 FESTA “My Profile” that he dreamed of buying a house near the park for his family. The location also holds significance as he received Goyang City’s Exemplary Taxpayer Award in 2022.

“This is so beautiful,” wrote one fan on social media. “And mesmerizing, just like our Kim Taehyung.”

“So beautiful, and fully deserved!” another fan added.

The fountain show is part of a global wave of projects honoring Taehyung’s return. Fans in Thailand, Nigeria, China, and Korea have wrapped buses with his images, while others set up LED displays, pop-up cafes, and free drink events in cities like Seoul, Tokyo, and Manila.

In Chuncheon, where Taehyung served with the Special Duty Team (SDT), banners and ads celebrate his service. A pop-up exhibition called “Veloute” will open in multiple cities, featuring themed merchandise and fan art.

Taehyung enlisted on December 11, 2023, and has been active in the military, appearing in public events and sharing moments with fellow soldiers. Recent photos of him in uniform went viral, with fans praising his strong presence and bond with his team.

“Such a fine man, Captain Kim Taehyung,” a fan tweeted.

“His military friends are the luckiest—imagine the stories they’ll tell their children,” another said.

The musical fountain show is free for all visitors, drawing crowds to the park nightly. Fans hope Taehyung sees the tribute and feels their support as he completes his service.
