GOT7is gearing up for a significant return in January 2025, with the announcement of their new mini-album titled WINTER HEPTAGON. Reports on December 20 confirmed the title, sparking fan theories about its significance.
The title WINTER HEPTAGON has intrigued fans, who have noted its connection to celestial events. When Mars aligns with the winter hexagon, it forms an asterism known as the Winter Heptagon around the star Betelgeuse. Interestingly, if one side of this heptagon is removed, the seven brightest stars create a G shape in the sky. This observation has led many to believe that the title symbolizes the group’s unity and enduring presence, akin to stars in the night sky.

Each member is positioned to represent one of the stars in this pattern, with JAY B as Aldebaran, Yugyeom as Capella, BamBamas Pollux, Mark as Procyon, Youngjae as Sirius, Jackson Wang as Rigel, and Jinyoung as Betelgeuse at the center, forming the G shape.

This comeback marks GOT7‘s first significant group activity in three years, following their self-titled album in 2022.
