GOT7’s Jinyoung has received his first potential lead role since completing his mandatory military service. The singer-actor has been offered the role in the upcoming drama Unknown Seoul, where he would star alongside Park Bo Young. This marks his first acting project after his November discharge from military duties.
Jinyoung in Talks for Lead Role
On September 26, news broke that Jinyoung is in discussions to star in Unknown Seoul. His agency, BH Entertainment, confirmed the offer, stating, “Park Jin-young has received an offer to appear in Unknown Seoul and is positively reviewing it.”
If Jinyoung accepts, he will play the lead role of Ho Su, a man in a long-term relationship with one of the twin sisters, played by Park Bo Young. The drama is set to follow the story of twin sisters who are identical in appearance but lead very different lives. When they find love under complicated circumstances, their worlds are forever changed.
Park Bo Young’s Double Role in ‘Unknown Seoul’
In Unknown Seoul, Park Bo Young is slated to take on the challenging task of portraying both twin sisters. Her role adds further intrigue to the drama, given her reputation for delivering nuanced performances.
