Where to Stream the New Episode

Hell University streams only on Viva One, the streaming platform from Viva Entertainment. The service is available in the Philippines and can also be accessed by international viewers. To watch episode 8, you can download the Viva One app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.

The platform provides subtitles for global audiences, making it easier for viewers in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, India, and other countries to follow the story. The series carries a mature rating due to its violent themes and intense scenes.

What to Expect in Episode 8

The previous episodes have built toward a bigger conflict inside the university. Zein and her friends arrived at the school thinking it was an abandoned building, only to learn it operates under its own twisted rules. The Bloody Night period has forced students to pick sides between the two main gangs that control the campus.

Zeke Polina plays Ace Craige, the Supremo or president of the Supreme Student Council. His character has been helping Zein survive, but his motives remain unclear. Lance Carr portrays Raze Silvenia, leader of the Devil God Warrior gang, while Keagan de Jesus plays Nazzer Lumia, leader of the Black Blood Gang. The group of new students has been caught between these two powerful forces since the first episode.

The death of a student during the first Bloody Night set off a chain of events that has put everyone on edge. As the season moves toward its end, episode 8 is expected to show more about the system inside the university and whether anyone can truly escape.

Main Cast of Hell University

The series features a group of rising Filipino actors taking on their first lead roles. Here are the main cast members:

  • Heart Ryan as Zein Shion: A student who steps up to protect her friends and search for an exit.
  • Zeke Polina as Ace Craige: The quiet and powerful Supremo who holds authority over other students.
  • Lance Carr as Raze Silvenia: The leader of the Devil God Warrior gang.
  • Aubrey Caraan as Samantha: A former student who knows secrets about the university’s past.
  • Andre Yllana as Matthew “Matt” Hart: Zein’s friend who hides his feelings for her.
  • Keagan de Jesus as Nazzer Lumia: The head of the Black Blood Gang.
  • Jemima Rivera as Nicky Colt: A dangerous fighter aligned with the Black Blood Gang.

The supporting cast includes Gabbi Ejercito, Derrick Ong, Jastine Lim, Jac Abellana, Jao Canlas, and Andrea Del Rosario as Madam Violet, one of the antagonists in the story.

What Makes Hell University Different

The series stands out because of its setting and rules. Unlike typical school-based thrillers, Hell University operates outside government control. Students can enter freely with free tuition and meals, but the cost comes in the form of the nightly Bloody Night. During those hours, there are no consequences for violent actions.

The show was adapted from a Wattpad story that has collected over 179 million reads. Director Bobby Bonifacio Jr. worked with production designer Ericson Navarro to create the look of the university using an abandoned building redesigned with Art Deco style. The cast mentioned that filming in isolated locations without basic facilities made the experience physically demanding, but it helped them connect with their characters.

The soundtrack includes songs from the Filipino boy band Alamat, adding to the intense atmosphere of the series.
