HYBE, the entertainment giant behind popular K-pop groups like BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, and ENHYPEN, has introduced a unified online portal to help fans report any violations of their artists’ rights. These violations include defamatory posts and copyright infringements.
On September 23, HYBE made the announcement, stating that the portal is intended to streamline the process for fans to report these issues. The company emphasized that this new system will enable quicker and more systematic responses to protect their artists’ rights.
“We have integrated all artists’ reporting channels into one unified system,” HYBE mentioned, confirming that the portal will replace the previous reporting hotline for legal matters, which was previously managed by BIGHIT MUSIC for BTS and TXT. Fans can now use this website for reporting issues across all HYBE artists.
Legal Action Against Violations
In their statement, HYBE reiterated their commitment to protecting their artists from malicious online content. The company explained that they will continue taking legal action against defamatory and harmful posts as well as copyright violations. They stressed that cases will be prosecuted without leniency.
“We appreciate your unwavering love and support for our artists. Please submit any reports through our online portal, as the protection of our artists’ rights remains our top priority,” HYBE stated, encouraging fans to take part in the process.
Unified Portal for Multiple Artists
HYBE, home to multiple labels, is known for managing some of the biggest names in K-pop. BIGHIT MUSIC is the label behind BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, while ADOR and Source Music oversee groups like NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM. Other HYBE subsidiaries, such as PLEDIS Entertainment and BELIFT LAB, manage groups like SEVENTEEN and ENHYPEN, respectively.
The portal, which is now live, serves as a central platform for all HYBE artists, offering a more organized way for fans to report any infringements on their favorite idols’ rights. Fans can visit the site to file reports related to all artists under the HYBE umbrella.
Global Reach and Expansions
HYBE continues to expand its global influence. In addition to their K-pop operations, they’ve established subsidiaries in regions like America, Japan, and Latin America. Recently, under HYBE’s international label, a new global girl group named KATSEYE was launched, further solidifying their reach beyond South Korea.
With this new portal, HYBE aims to further strengthen the protection of their artists’ rights while fostering a healthier online environment for both idols and fans.
