Power couple HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung are heating things up with a romantic getaway to Thailand! The news broke on March 11th, when Taiwanese media outlet ETtoday captured the lovebirds enjoying a casual stroll through the streets of Bangkok.

Clad in a summery flower-patterned dress, HyunA held hands with Yong Jun-hyung, who sported a relaxed look with a t-shirt and shorts. A lucky fan even managed to snag a short video of the couple, expressing their shyness about approaching them for a photo.

This Thailand trip isn’t the only sign the couple is going strong. Back in January, they officially confirmed their relationship by posting a picture of them holding hands with the caption “Please look at us kindly.” Fans showered them with support, with HyunA even liking a comment expressing well wishes for their romance. Yong Jun-hyung also chimed in through a paid fan communication platform, requesting fans’ warm support as they draw positive energy from each other.

The couple’s relationship might come as a surprise to some, considering their past as labelmates under Cube Entertainment. HyunA was a member of the iconic girl group 4Minute, while Yong Jun-hyung was part of the boy band BEAST (now known as Highlight). Their paths crossed musically as well, with Yong Jun-hyung featuring on HyunA’s solo track “Change” back in 2010. Over the years, they’ve developed a strong bond, appearing together on stages and variety shows, showcasing their supportive friendship.

This marks HyunA’s second public relationship. She previously dated Dawn for six years before their split in 2023. However, some fans expressed concern about Yong Jun-hyung, referencing a past controversy. In 2019, he left his group Highlight after admitting to witnessing illegal videos shared by Jung Joon-young. Although not part of the infamous chatroom, he received criticism for sharing these videos and engaging in inappropriate conversations with Jung Joon-young. After a hiatus, Yong Jun-hyung returned to the music scene in 2022 with the independent label Black Made.

Despite some fan reservations, HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung seem unfazed and continue enjoying their romance. While HyunA gears up for a comeback, Yong Jun-hyung has his sights set on releasing a new EP titled “Beautiful Dystopia” later this month.
