Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence is stepping behind the camera to produce a new film titled “The Wives.” Lawrence will also star in the upcoming project, which is described as a murder mystery with a darkly comedic twist.

Jennifer Lawrence Teams Up with Familiar Collaborators
Joining Lawrence in the producer’s seat is Justine Ciarrocchi, her partner at their production company Excellent Cadaver. They will be joined by Tony Award-nominated playwright Jeremy O. Harris (Zola, Slave Play) and Josh Godfrey. The script for “The Wives” is written by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley.
This isn’t the first time Lawrence has collaborated with Apple Studios and A24. The two companies co-produced Lawrence’s 2022 drama film “Causeway.” A director for “The Wives” has not yet been announced.
