BLACKPINK’s Jisoorecently reflected on her favorite memory with her group members during an interview with ELLE Magazine. Surprisingly, the moment wasn’t a glamorous event or performance but something much simpler and heartfelt.
A Year of Solo Pursuits
Jisoo revealed that 2024 has been a busy year for BLACKPINK, with each member focusing on solo projects. As a result, they’ve rarely had the chance to spend time together.
“We were all following our own dreams this year. They’re all very busy.”
This distance meant their interactions were often limited to virtual meetings, which Jisoo jokingly compared to handling an AI version of her members.
Video Call Chaos
When they do manage to connect, it’s through video calls, but even those can be challenging. Jisoo humorously described the experience:
“We make video calls together. It’s chaotic. Did you try a Zoom meeting with four people?”
To avoid everyone speaking over one another, the group resorts to raising their hands, creating a moment Jisoo cherishes as both funny and memorable.
A Special In-Person Reunion
Despite their packed schedules, there was one occasion where all four members met in person: BLACKPINK’s 8th anniversary. This rare gathering was a meaningful moment for the group.
“Celebrating our 8 year anniversary was the one time we could meet.”
While 2024 may have been a year of individual growth for the BLACKPINK members, their bond remains unshaken, as shown in these small but heartfelt interactions.
