The press conference was organized by his agency as an opportunity for him to speak directly to journalists, and there was no separate question-and-answer session.
Kim Soo Hyun Responds to Claims About Kim Sae Ron
During the conference, Kim Soo Hyun specifically addressed the serious allegations that Kim Sae Ron made a tragic decision because of his agency’s actions or his own. He firmly stated that these claims are untrue.
The claim that I ignored the deceased and that she made a tragic decision to end her life because of my management company is not true. We were like any other couple. We loved each other, and then we broke up. After that, I did not keep in touch with the deceased. Like most couples who break up, it was not easy for me to contact her after we’d broken up—especially since we were both well-known celebrities.
Kim Soo Hyun further explained his lack of contact with Kim Sae Ron even after their breakup and her subsequent DUI incident. He mentioned that they were both signed under the same agency at one point, which allowed him to be aware of her general well-being without direct communication.
When we were signed under the same agency, I knew how she was doing. So, I did not reach out. That’s why when she got into the DUI accident, I did not reach out to her either. On the YouTube channel speaking on behalf of her family stating that she was having a hard time because of me, but from what I know, she was dating someone else at that time.
