South Korea’s highly awaited historical drama Harbin, featuring an ensemble cast led by Hyun Bin andLee Dong Wook, has shared a closer look at its complex characters. A new character poster of Lee Dong Wook as independence fighter Lee Chang Seop has been unveiled, giving audiences a glimpse into the story’s gripping intensity and patriotism.
Lee Dong Wook as Lee Chang Seop: A Freedom Fighter with a Conflict
In the newly released poster, Lee Dong Wook is shown as the determined Lee Chang Seop, a key ally of General Ahn Jung Geun but also a man torn by conflicting ideals about Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule. Set in 1909, during the height of Japan’s colonization of Korea, Harbin portrays the sacrifices and resilience of freedom fighters determined to reclaim their country’s sovereignty.

The mission, taking place amidst relentless opposition and danger, highlights the personal and collective sacrifices made in pursuit of freedom.
